On May 09, 2024 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with the National United Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to open training programme on compressed air system optimisation(CASO) for 50 technical experts/staff of industrial enterprises and experts/consultants from industry promotion, energy efficiency centres, technological universities and institutes.
At the opening of the training programme, Ms. Pham Thi Nga, National Technical Advisor of IEEP Project said this training is designed to equip the users with knowledge and skills to conduct CASO assessment as well as to identify, construct and implement CASO projects and measures.
On May 08, the training expert and the UNIDO project office paid a site visit to ASEAN Tyre Co., Ltd. (Bac Ninh) and Mechanical Tools Export JSC(Me Linh)- the industrial enterprises utilising compressed air systems.
A similar training will be held in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) on May 14-15 for participants from the Southern part of Vietnam. Prior to that, the UNIDO project office will visit Binh Minh plastic JSC(HCMC) and Khai Hoan Rubber Company-VGR(Binh Duong)
This training is one activity under the Component 2- Capacity Building Programme of the Project “Accelerating energy efficiency in large industries through energy management systems, system optimisation and the promotion and adoption of energy efficiency in SMEs (IEEP project), funded by the European Union.
